Basic Hire Charge Payment - What's included in the basic car hire rate?

Of course, when you return your car, it is at this stage that all rental charges are calculated and charged. Payment will be required, including any additional services and charges incurred, subject to a final audit, and a remittance advice will be issued.

Optional Services & Charges

These are not included in your standard hire car quote but may be offered before you accept delivery of your hire car.

Additional Driver

The rental car is insured for one person only. Should you wish to add additional drivers, then please do so when you pick up your car. There will be an additional charge for each additional driver which is payable at time of rental. A full driving licence for each additional driver (held for at least one year, three years in Cyprus) will also need to be provided at time of rental.

Additional Equipment

For example child seats, ski racks, snow chains etc. are available at an additional cost paid at time of rental. These should be requested at time of booking and are subject to availability.

Fuel

Most rental cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refuelled prior to return to the hire car company, otherwise refuelling charges will apply. Alternatively, you may purchase your fuel in advance. Please ask at the rental desk for details of any pre-paid fuel options.

One Way rentals

If you plan to return the car to a different rental location you must let the hire car company know in advance in your reservation as a one way fee may apply.

Young Driver Surcharge

Drivers under 25 may be subject to a Young Driver Surcharge. Please check country terms and conditions when booking.
